I see red X so I cannot comment at this time... I would personally stick with the inline FM mod tho.

Brain, I wasn't drawing relays. So, stfu. :)

You think the FM audio quality is better than or equal to stereo via aux in?

With a direct connect FM mod. Yes, equal to. Its not better, but its not any worse either. Funny thing about Sat Radio is that no matter what kind of connection you have it ends up being sent to the headunit via analog audio. Some people will say that "direct connect" boxes send it digitally to the Headunit, but the Sirius/XM chip only outputs analog. If they would want to output digital audio they would have to give out their encoding strategy making it very easy to pick-up the signal without an approved sat radio tuner... Meaning, they (Sirius-XM) would lose subscription fees.

Either way it sucked. Much like you on a street corner during your college years.

Also, your spelling today has been horrible. You should think about fixing that...

Just use the FM modulator. It's srsly fine and you'll hardly notice a difference. I mean come on, its not like you have an uber laid out sound system in the truck.... It's factory speakers through a factory headunit. How good do you expect ANYTHING to sound?

Expectatiions. U has too high of dem me thinks.

Well if you are planning for the future then I would hold off as most modern aftermarket headunits have an aux imput that will allow you to directly connect the ipoo'd to the headunit.

Yeah.. but that future is far enough away that I don't want to wait lol. The aux jack wiring still needs to be done anyway.

I got the shit installed last night. I am not super pleased with the direct FM... not because of audio quality that sounds fine. I just don't like the way it operates. It is okay for now though. I didn't take any pics cuz it was dark and I was running late this AM. Nothing super impressive. I need to either cut the stock rubber mat or get some kind of replacement rigged up. I have a bit of wire clean up to do. Also going to clean things up behind the head unit a bit. I just kind of shoved stuff in there to make it work. There is a BOAT ton of space back there.
