John pointed out that the time was off. I can't do anything about it. My advice is just to update your profile to reflect the proper time.

I've already tried changing the board time on the day of the time change. It didn't do anything. Like Ben said, just change your time zone in your profile settings.

This has always been an issue.

The forum software gets the time from the server. The server is out of my hands as far as actual management goes.

We don't need a more robust hosting solution (right now, and I don't see why we would either) where I could control it. Unless we get some amazing sponsorship for the site, it won't happen. Decent VPS hosting runs about $600 per year.

I pay about $120 per year, not including the domain name.

Ditto - I'd like to donate some, so I just need a bit of a heads up. The link from the homepage still is good for the donate right? In case I don't see you by the time it's due.

I pay in 6 month blocks and I got my invoice March 1st.

I do need to talk to Scott about getting the domain transferred to me so I can keep an eye on that. It should be registered through till June or July 2010.

Right the forum software should get it from the system clock so my guess is that the system doesn't have the updated time change dates.

It is cool whatever is offered is gladly accepted. I don't mind doing it but it sure helps to cushion the cost.

All you have to do is have it set to the right time zone and click the "yes" button for "use summer daylight savings time" or whatever. Much better in new phpbb :)

Yeah, duh. I fixed it for the board if you aren't logged in, but in case someone logs in and they are all like, wtf the time is wrong, that message was to let them know to fix it. :p
